My son and his friend are both staying on at school (they are both 16 - nearly 17) and I was wondering if I let my sons friend move in with us, if it would affect my finances in anyway. I am a lone parent who works part time and receive work and child tax credits. Does anyone know if he moved in, if it would make any difference to these amounts and also council tax payments? Thanks.
